Kevin M. McCafferty, Advisory Partner
Mr. McCafferty brings more than 25 years of experience in venture capital and private equity investing, including deal evaluation and structuring, managing a venture capital firm, and developing discipline and best practices for investments. Mr. McCafferty's investment experience has spanned a broad spectrum of corporate maturity and risk/reward profiles, ranging from seed-stage start-ups to leveraged buyouts of well-established operating companies. In 1982, Mr. McCafferty started and managed the Boston offices of both First Chicago Venture Capital and Madison Dearborn Partners, which focused on early-stage venture and smaller LBO investments. In 1991, Mr. McCafferty co-founded New England Capital Management focusing on leveraged buyouts of small to medium-sized operating companies. In 2001, he co-founded New England Capital Partners focusing on similar buyouts. Mr. McCafferty earned his BA at Harvard College and his MBA at the University of Chicago.
